Swimming Lessons for Disabled Children

Learning to swim is a great way to learn an essential life skill let alone being fun and a great way to increase confidence in the water. Being in the water can help disabled children and young people move freely and enjoy this fun sporting activity enjoying a range of sensations and while in the water.

Splashability:

This popular evening is for disabled children and young people to come along and enjoy Splash World with family and friends. This night isn’t exclusive to any one disability so everyone can join in the fun in the knowledge that it is exclusively for you.

Running on a Friday evening these exclusive nights are very popular so why not come along and see what the fuss is about. The dates for 2012 are as follows:

  • 27th January
  • 24th February
  • 23rd March

Quiet Nights:

Another exclusive evening at Dunes Splash World this night is specifically designed for children and young people who have a diagnosis on the Autistic Spectrum. These exclusive nights are open for family, friends and carers to come along and enjoy Dunes Splash World in a safe and peaceful setting on a Friday night.

So that it isn’t too noisy or busy, the rides are switched off until you feel comfortable and the lights are kept low so it’s all about chilled out fun. If you want to give it a go, why not contact our friends in the Aiming High team and book your place.

The evenings take place from 6:30pm – 8:30pm on the following dates in 2012:

  • 13th January
  • 10th February
  • 9th March
